In 2017, that passion took center stage when I won my local barista championship. It was equal parts thrilling and surreal—like your Tuesday morning routine suddenly has a trophy. That experience, built upon years of daily practice, was a milestone in my journey. But honestly, what I’ve learned behind the bar matters more than any competition: how a remembered name can change someone’s day, how a perfectly frothed latte feels like a small act of care. With over a decade of experience in the industry, I’ve come to see coffee not just as a beverage, but as a medium for storytelling and community. Every cup is an opportunity to connect.
When I’m not pulling shots, I’m probably trying to wrangle my two chaotic rescue cats into a photoshoot (I’m a wannabe photographer with a very unwilling portfolio of feline models).
